Doctor
Kevin Kettler , DVM
|
Dr. Kettler is a longtime Dickinson resident. He earned a bachelor's degree in veterinary science in 1987 and a DVM in 1989, both from Texas A&M University. Kevin entered an internship program in small animal surgery in Tennessee for 1 year, followed by 2 years of mixed practice near Fort Worth prior to joining Dickinson Animal Hospital in 1992. Dr. Kettler, his wife Jonna, and their 2 children have 2 Labrador retrievers, Hondo and Darcy, and 2 house cats Elvis and Gumbo. Kevin enjoys coaching the boys' sports teams and working outdoors. Kevin's special interest include surgery and endoscopy/laparoscopy. |

Lori Honeycutt , DVM

Dr. Honeycutt is a lifelong Dickinson resident. She earned a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1985, and her DVM from Texas A&M in 1990. She practiced in Texas City and Clear Lake for 7 years prior to joining our hospital in 1998. Lori, her husband, and 3 children have 1 cat; Pumpkin, and 2 dogs; Chi Chi and Oleo, and enjoy being heavily involved in their children's athletic activities. Lori has a special interest in outpatient services and preventive medicine. |

Robin Scott , DVM, ABVP
| Dr Scott came on board with us in Jan. 2008, and has practiced in the area for over 15 years. Dr Scott graduated from LSUCVM in 1989, completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Texas A&M in 1990, and completed a 2 year residency in Zoological Medicine at the University of California- Davis in 1992. She obtained her board certification in 1996, and successfully passed her recertification in 2006. She is 1 of only 4 avian specialists in the greater Houston area, and is the only board certified avian specialist in Galveston county. In addition to avian medicine, Dr. Scott has extensive experience and expertise in exotic animal medicine, including small mammals, nonvenomous reptiles, amphibians, and fish; as well as dogs and cats. Dr. Scott has a Scarlet Macaw named Shakey, a Catalina Macaw named Shadow, a Double Yellow Headed Amazon named Plumb, and 4 turtles. |

Marcie Vaughn , DVM |
Dr. Vaughn is originally from Dallas and attended OSU where she earned a BS degree in zoology in 2000 followed by her DVM in 2005.
Dr. Vaughn has a great heart for pets and their owners! She always wears a smile and is quick to bring one to the people around her. She loves her profession, and it shows! In addition to great skills in medicine and surgery, Dr. Vaughn holds a special interest in behavioral medicine. |  View |

Jonna Kettler

Practice Administrator - Jonna earned her BS degree from Texas A&M University in Psychology. She became co-owner and manager of Dickinson Animal Hospital in 1997. Jonna handles all off-premises logistics and management duties that are involved in keeping the hospital running smoothly on a daily basis. |

Summer Pelland , CVT

Practice Manager - Summer joined our hospital early in 2002 after graduating from the Veterinary Paramedic Program at Houston Community College in 2001. Summer is very passionate about her field, and has been a tremendous asset to our hospital. Her 4 cats; Osha, Silver, Zen, and Rummy serve as our hospital's feline blood donors. She enjoys spending time with her 2 boxers, Tyson & Paper, and her double yellow headed amazon, Willie. |

Anissa Reynolds

Head Nurse - Anissa joined the practice in 1999. She has been a technician for 17 years. She has also had extensive training in human sonography and has been able to utilize these skills in veterinary medicine. Anissa enjoys living at the beach with her husband and their "children"; a boston terrier Seamus, a pug Moshu, a french bulldog Pierre, and an exotic shorthair Emma. |

Amanda Politte
| Amanda comes to us from a clinic in Lubbock, Texas. She joined us in November of 2006, and is an enthusiastic member of our surgical team. Amanda has a boxer named Dink. |

Molly Corson
| Molly joined our team in May 2007 after graduating from Texas A&M. She has become a very detailed member of our surgical team. She has three dogs, a rabbit, seven ducks, two miniature donkeys, two tortoises, and two cows. |

Ashley Parks
| Ashley joined our team in July 2007. She has a 4 year old son, Ashtin, and has been working as a veterinary nurse for 9 years. She enjoys fostering and nurturing orphaned puppies and kittens. She has 5 cats; Phoenix, Sanarah, Crystal, Kai, and Vegas. |

| Cheryl has been a veterinary technician for 8 years, working through college in her home state of Kentucky. She has been in the area for almost 3 years, and joined our team in January 2008. Cheryl has 1 dog, Chicana. |

| Kelli has been in the veterinary profession for 13 years working as a Veterinary Practice Management Consultant, Client relations Manager, and Nurse. Kelli has 4 beautiful daughters and 1 4-legged son, "Romo" her pie bald miniature dachshund. |
